No, it's not what you think it is. I'm not talking about the famous painting by the Spanish master Francisco de Goya. The Second of May 1808 depicts the beginning of the uprising when the elite Mamelukes of the French Imperial Guard are ordered to charge and subdue the rioting citizens.
.... stop rewind
start all over again.
The Second of May, it's SLAVE I have in mind! World's finest selection of Art, Music and Culture.
The Second of May, we have:

Dear-us is a development programme/company for arts, concepts, movies, music, lifestyle, stories, movement, and many more! It develops products in a way that people are depending on a good will.
It's not all that hard to discover what the words are about, DEAR US, DEAR each other, It's about believing in people and in future collaboration. It's about making products together without the capitalistic mindset.
Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will. While the importance of new product development has long been recognized in high-tech settings, it has frequently been viewed as an art whose success depended more on serendipity and good fortune than on good management/people.
And Dear-us is not dependent on good fortune, it's dependent on working together on a product that is needed! Its a lifestyle for a future we need to sustain, and need to believe in.
A young and fresh organ trio that makes unpredictable swinging music, Filiaal Zuid is a trio that will make your legs move and your arms swing. In brief, stimulating music and amazing improvisations that make for easy listening altogether.

Luna Dos Tres
Latin American trio playing a variety of songs and dances from Spanish speaking countries like Cuba, Venezuela, Peru and Argentina. Singer Luna Zegers, who has a lot of experience with Spanish and Latin American music, is accompanied by two guitar players (Roel Goedhart and Ward Spanjers). This trio in its authentic form will play original styles like tango, bolero, vals criollo and son. Since I have their music on my Ipod, I would recommend the whole world to listen to this talented trio. Music that catches your heart, spins with it, covers it up with passion and puts it back into your chest. wauw.
SLAVE TO THE RHYTHM, make sure you don't miss the upcoming SLAVE edition in The Supperclub! Dear all, no, Grace Jones herself won't be here this night.. But thank goodness! We have our own Grace, Mister André D. Singleton, the weekly host of the evening. He's already compared himself to the glamorous Grace Jones once, and after sharing a night with my lovely free English dictionary I found out that GRACE is written on his chest. Or maybe it's written on his cute zebra leggings.
Anyway, Grace: "...is a delicate balance of words and actions that expresses our dignity and affirms the dignity of those around us. When we are gracious, we choose our words thoughtfully" .... "Grace is often a quality of leaders who can rise above conflict or competition, remaining calm and kind despite the chaos that swirls around them. Grace protects against reactivity and excess. We inspire a sense of harmony and comfort in those who experience our grace."
Thank you Grace, for being one of the finest characters of SLAVE, for standing in the spotlight every week and for binding the evening together. SLAVE has found itself the best host it can wish for, a host with qualities like balance, dignity and harmony. Come and see, and judge for yourself! During the week, Grace André is covered with intelligent studybooks, but during the weekend, especially on SUNDAY, you can find him in the Supperclub, from 18:00 till 01:00!
